Do you ever ask yourself: am I  doing this because it's what I think is best, or because it's how it has always been done?

I'm drawing inspiration from the CEO of Bumble, Whitney Wolfe Herd who talks about the power of original thought.

" She advised we base decisions around the answers to those kind of questions instead of being influenced by how it's done by others, and how it has been done before. Basically, following your instinct instead of trends. "


" So, let's say you're a tuition business and you want to scale.   If you think about how other people do it and have done it in the past, your mind would probably go down the route of hiring tutors. 


If, however, you strip away how others do it, you might come up with other ideas. "
